Inside Scheiner's: Monsey's 24-Hour Minyan, 120 Minyanim a Day | Kipkeh
0 views 1h ago
120 minyanim a day, 24 hours a day, and 3,000 to 4,000 people coming
through. Tuli takes you inside Scheiner's in Monsey, the place where
you can always catch a minyan.
Around shkia it never stops: from 20 minutes before shkia until an
hour after, there is a minyan every 5 minutes.
Kipkeh goes behind the scenes at Scheiner's. We hear how it started 13
years ago in this building, when the minyan was only on Shabbos, and
why Reb Leizer Scheiner made room for every nusach, with pictures of
all the Rebbes on the walls so everyone feels at home. Then we walk
through Tent Aleph and the zmanim screens, the coffee station and the
fresh lokshen kugel, the sheimos machine, the huge new parking lot,
the new Beis Medrash on the way, the keilim mikveh, and the Heichel
HaTorah learning room, and meet the man who runs it all.
