1. Who can use the site

Anyone can watch videos without an account. To like videos, subscribe to channels, save videos, get the Daily Digest, report videos or send us messages, you need an account. You must be at least 13 years old to create one. If you are under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.

2. Your account

• Give us a real email address and keep your password private.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• One person per account. Don't share it, sell it or pretend to be someone else.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

3. The videos

All videos on Yiddish Videos are uploaded by us. They are for your personal viewing only. Unless we say otherwise, you may not download, copy, re-upload, sell or show them publicly. Sharing a link to a video is always fine.

Bought downloads: some videos can be bought as an MP4 file with a one-time payment. Payments are handled by Stripe. A bought file is for your own personal use: you may keep it and watch it on your own devices, but not share, re-upload, sell or show it publicly. You can download it again from Purchases while the video is on the site. If we refund a purchase, the download is no longer available. If something goes wrong with a purchase, write to us in Help & feedback.

4. What you send us

When you send us something (for example a help message or a report), it stays yours. You let us store it, show it where the feature is meant to show it, and use it to run and improve the site.

5. Things you must not do

• Break the law, or help someone else break it.
• Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, including our team.
• Send spam, or make false reports.
• Try to break into accounts or into the site, or slow it down on purpose.
• Use bots or scrapers to copy videos or data from the site.

6. If you break the rules

We may remove what you sent, limit what you can do, or block your account, with or without warning. If you think we made a mistake, write to us through Help & feedback (or, if you can't sign in, ask someone to reach us for you).

7. Reporting a problem with a video

If you think a video breaks the law or someone's rights (for example copyright), press Report on the video or tell us through Help & feedback. Please say which video and why. We will look at it and take it down if needed.

8. Changes to the site

We may add, change or remove features or videos, or stop the site, at any time. The site is free and we don't promise it will always be available.

9. No guarantees

The site is provided "as is". We do our best, but we can't promise it will be error-free or always online. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from using the site or not being able to use it.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the new terms. For big changes we will try to let you know on the site or by email.
